2008 SC State Shoot: Mother Nature let herself be known this year and decided to rain on our parade. Sunday turned out nice, if a bit cold, and we had some great shooting. Much thanks to all involved, including but not limited to: Ron Williams, scorekeeping; John Mouzon, Range Officer; and the Gaineys and Jim Rozelle for food prep and logistics. I will try to get all the scores published next month.

Next Business Meeting: 7:30PM Thursday, 3 April 2008, at Roy Dossett’s place. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. We will be electing new officers for the next year.

The April shoot will be Sunday the 27^th and the following business meeting will be Thursday, May 1^st.

New Shoot Schedule: At each shoot we will schedule 6-7 targets; 3 Aggregate, 1-2 Animal or non-standard (Hunters, NGNG, etc), and 2 Pistol or Musket. The relays will be held to a strict 20 minute limit. Targets may be shot in any order and more than one target may be shot during a relay. Marked targets may be shot for more than one relay. Shooters may shoot any or all of the targets as they wish, in any order.

If you require any black powder (GOEX FFFg $12.50/lb) please contact the Club Secretary. We have just ordered a new shipment and it should arrive before the March shoot on the 30^th. You may pick it up at my place or at the next shoot but first come, first served.

For Sale:

Jim Rozelle has 4 (or more) boxes of .490 Hornady Swaged Round Balls, $5⁰⁰ each box.

CLUB DUES: Plan ahead for this year’s dues. $75 is needed by the first shoot of the year (Jan 27^th) to remain in good standing.
