September 2008 Newsletter

The September shoot is the 28^th. 0900-1130 Practice, 1130-1230 Lunch, 1230 Shoot.

Next Business Meeting: 7:30PM Thursday, 2 October 2008, venue to be determined. All members and interested parties are encouraged to attend.

The Oct. shoot will be Sunday the 26^th and the following business meeting will be Thursday, October 30^th.

Also continued discussing an overnight camping event/cookout prior to the November meat shoot and some fun shoots on Sat. & Sun, including a blanket prize shoot. Jim Rozelle and Roy Dossat may be marshalling these plans, Jim will head up the food prep and Roy will be the range officer. Lots of ideas passed around but there is always room for more suggestions. Have any thoughts on the matter? Talk to one of the Club officers or come to the next meeting.

New Shoot Schedule: At each shoot we will schedule 6-7 targets; 3 Aggregate, 1-2 Animal or non-standard (Hunters, NGNG, etc), and 2 Pistol or Musket. The relays will be held to a strict 20 minute limit. Targets may be shot in any order and more than one target may be shot during a relay. Marked targets may be shot for more than one relay. Shooters may shoot any or all of the targets as they wish, in any order.
