Next Business Meeting: 7:30PM Thursday, 3 July 2008, at John Mouzon’s home. All members and interested parties are encouraged to attend. John plans on holding a Flintlock class for those interested in the basics.

The July shoot will be Sunday the 27th and the following business meeting will be Thursday, July 31st.

From the May Meeting: Treasurer reports club cash assets at $410000. Thinking far ahead, there was much discussion on when to hold the 2010 State Championship Shoot (our expected next date) to avoid the gnats and the weather and ensure we can get an announcement into Muzzle Blasts.

Also discussed was an overnight camping event/cookout prior to a Sunday shoot. Lots of ideas passed around but no consensus reached. Have any thoughts on the matter? Talk to one of the Club officers or come to the next meeting.

New Shoot Schedule: At each shoot we will schedule 6-7 targets; 3 Aggregate, 1-2 Animal or non-standard (Hunters, NGNG, etc), and 2 Pistol or Musket. The relays will be held to a strict 20 minute limit. Targets may be shot in any order and more than one target may be shot during a relay. Marked targets may be shot for more than one relay. Shooters may shoot any or all of the targets as they wish, in any order.

For Sale:

Jim Rozelle has 4 (or more) boxes of .490 Hornady Swaged Round Balls, $500 each box.
